1. Data protection at a glance No data collection by the app: OnePlace processes all location data exclusively locally on your device. No location data is ever transmitted to servers. No account required.

Optional ranking: If you opt into the ranking, only anonymised game statistics (number of tiles discovered and treasures found) are transmitted — never location data. You can opt out at any time.

3.1 Location data

The app uses your location data to reveal tiles on your personal map and find treasures. This data is processed exclusively locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

3.2 Privacy Mode With Privacy Mode, you can restrict location tracking to active gaming sessions. The app will then only access your location when you are actively using the app.

3.3 Optional global ranking If you activate the optional ranking, only the following anonymised data will be transmitted:

• Number of tiles discovered per week
• Number of treasures found (by type)
• No location data or personal information is transmitted.
• You can deactivate the ranking at any time.

When ranking is deactivated all data related to your username is deleted from the database.

   • Rectify inaccurate data
   • Erase your data
   • Restrict processing

As OnePlace does not store any personal data on servers, you can delete all locally stored app data at any time by uninstalling the app or via the settings.

No analytics tools, tracking services, or third-party SDKs are used.
